Fees for Home inspections vary according to the size and type of home:​

• Up to 1200 square feet: $400.00 + GST

• Up to 1800 square feet: $450.00 + GST

• Up to 2500 square feet: $550.00 + GST

Mileage charges apply above 50kms and for out side of Winnipeg, please confirm.

What is Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging is an important tool in discovering hidden problems pertaining to air, heat, and moisture. An inspection performed by a qualified thermographer can detect such problems. Infrared heat is emitted by all matter; the amount of heat depends upon its energy. A thermographer can detect heat emissions using special equipment called an infrared camera and analyze the results to pinpoint problematic spots. Infrared cameras provide images for the inspector, who must then interpret the images.

"Thermal Imaging" can detect problems such as:

• Moisture in walls

• Leaks in ducting and plumbing

• Insulation issues

• In-floor and under-floor heating

• Furnace, A/C and fan motor problems

• Air leakage through external walls

• Incorrect heat leakage from appliances and electrical circuits

• Animal and critter infestations

• Window sealant issues

• The presence of studs or thermal bridges

A full-home thermal imaging scan can be viewed on-site for an additional $100 plus GST. You may choose to add your scan to the report for $25 per picture. Thermal Imaging service is available at the time of booking or if you decide later during the inspection.

As a stand alone service, Thermal Imaging fees vary depending on the extent and nature of the inspection/investigation. Fees start at $200. Call for a more specific quote.
